The Organisations and People Journal started life as the official journal of AMED which now exists as a community of people and organisational developers accessible through the writers group.
In 2024 we have relaunched the journal, capturing the essence of the ‘sprit of AMED’ providing a forum for capturing writing from the AMED community as well as a wide range of organisations and communities with reach that extends to Australia and South Africa. Since moving the journal to Lauriate in 2022 we have been working with guest editors and authors. There are a number of special editions in the pipeline which preserve the DNA of the AMED community in a way that we hope you will enjoy and find valuable.
The 2024 ‘launch’ issue focuses on the topic of Coach Development: Are we getting it all wrong? It is a hot topic in the international coaching and mentoring community of practice and highly relevant to the wider community of people and organisational development. Pauline Willis our editor curator and guest editor Bob Garvey have brought you a set of articles to inform as well as stimulate thinking to give you plenty of ‘grist’ for your personal and professional development conversations.
