AWG – Moving into Winter with Writing

October 21, 2022 @ 1:30 pm 4:00 pm

Your invitation:  You are welcome to join Tanya, Bob and the AMED community for a free afternoon writing session.  This is our first AMED Writers’ Group (AWG) workshop since AMED closed formally as an educational charity, though you will notice no change whatsoever in our ethos of generous mutual support for and interest in everyone’s respective writing interests.

Our process:  Through a series of guided writing exercises, discussion and quiet reflection we’ll explore our relationship with Winter; what it means to us, our memories, associations and expectations.  We’ll look at what it might mean to each of us to invite a sense of creativity and wellbeing into our lives as we move into the darker months.

What to bring: Your preferred writing resources, and yourself!

Tanya Fairtlough is a yoga and breath work teacher, wellbeing facilitator, (self-reflective and creative) writer and part time artist. She enjoys integrating writing into both her own personal routine and in to the wellbeing sessions she runs with other people. She’s currently writing a longer piece of fiction (maybe a novel! maybe not….. We’ll see).
